Find better prospects and personalize every lead
Learn how to create an AI lead search, use filters, add personalization fields, preview sample leads, and review the final results.
What AI Leads helps you do
AI Leads helps you find people who match your target audience and prepare useful personalization for each one. Instead of collecting a generic list and writing context later, you can define who you want, what Outify should learn about them, and how many leads you need.
A good AI lead search has three parts: clear filters, useful personalization fields, and a preview that confirms the search is finding the right kind of prospects.
1. Start with audience filters
Filters tell Outify who to look for. You can target by job titles, regions, countries, specific locations, industries, keywords, employee count, revenue, and funding stage.
Start with the few filters that matter most. For example, use job title, region, and company size before adding more constraints. If the search feels too narrow, use a more relaxed job title match or remove a less important company filter.
2. Use keywords for company context
Keywords help describe the kinds of companies you want to find, such as SaaS, cybersecurity, fintech, healthcare tech, or another market category. Outify can suggest keywords while you type, which makes it easier to discover adjacent terms.
Use keywords to describe the company or market, not the person. Job titles already cover the person you want to reach.
3. Add personalization fields
Personalization fields are custom AI-generated columns for every lead. Each field has a name and a description. The name becomes a variable you can use later in campaigns, such as {{recent_achievement}} or {{email_opener}}.
For each person, Outify checks available public data and activity across the internet, then fills those variables based on what it finds about the person and their company.
Be specific in the field description. Instead of “write something personal,” ask for the exact kind of detail you want, such as a recent company initiative, a relevant competitor angle, or a short opener connected to the prospect’s role.
4. Add instructions for the whole search
Instructions guide all of the personalization fields in the search. Use them to explain the product angle, tone, proof points, or constraints you want Outify to follow.
For example, you might tell Outify to focus on cost savings, use a calm executive tone, avoid hype, and connect each variable back to a specific pain your product solves.
5. Generate a preview
Before creating the full search, generate a preview. Outify creates five sample leads so you can check whether the filters and personalization fields are producing useful results.
Preview cards show lead details, company and location context, profile links, generated personalization values, reasons, and sources when available. Use this to check not only who Outify found, but also whether the AI variables are grounded in useful public context.
If you change filters or fields after previewing, refresh the preview so you are judging the latest version.
6. Review quality settings
Before launch, choose how many leads you want and review the quality settings. You can add verified leads only, run verification when adding leads, and skip leads whose email addresses already exist in a campaign.
For most first searches, keep verified leads only turned on and request a smaller batch. It is easier to judge quality, adjust filters, and expand once the first results look right.
7. Save a draft or launch the search
If you are still shaping the audience or fields, save the search as a draft. Drafts can be edited and launched later from the AI Lead Searches page.
When the setup looks right, launch the search. Outify will start finding leads, checking lead quality, and preparing the personalization fields. The search page updates while the work is running.
8. Review the results
Each search has a Details tab and a Leads tab. Details shows the search name, status, number of requested leads, leads found, filters, and personalization setup.
The Leads tab shows the people Outify found, including email, verification status, name, job title, company, LinkedIn, company website, company LinkedIn, industry, employee count, location, and any personalization fields you created.
9. Search, select, and export leads
Use search inside the Leads tab to find specific people or companies in the results. You can select rows, download all leads, or download only selected leads.
CSV exports include the standard lead details and your personalization fields as columns, so the context you generated can move with the leads into the next step of your outbound workflow.
A simple AI Leads checklist
Choose the audience, add only the filters that matter, define the personalization fields you actually plan to use, generate a preview, refresh it after changes, review quality settings, then launch.
If the preview is not useful, adjust before launching. AI Leads works best when the audience is focused and the personalization fields are written like instructions for a real campaign, not generic research requests.
